From Wallflowers Keyboardist to Lead Fran Drescher’s ‘Tawk Show’ Band

Rami Jaffee former keyboardist for The Wallflowers and Foo Fighters will lead an all-star house band for “The Fran Drescher Tawk Show,” which debuts November 26, Fancast has learned exclusively.

“Gavin Lurssen is a three time Grammy winner… he will be my music supervisor and is also going to play guitar,” Drescher reveals. “It is going to be really great. We are going to even have a horn section.”

Additional members of the band have not yet been confirmed.

Dreschers first foray into daytime talk will be seen on Fox stations in six cities: New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and Orlando.

“We are going to cover everything from fetishes to politics,” she says. “This is something I have been wanting to do since ‘The Nanny.'”
